Terms & Conditions - Win an iPad Prize Draw May-July 2024

  1. The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over who are registered and current members of the Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries panel, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
  2. To enter, participants must meet the following conditions:
  • Follow the official Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries (UK) LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/bank-of-ireland-for-intermediaries.
  • ‘Like’ the pinned social media post from the official Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries (UK) LinkedIn page that is promoting the relevant monthly prize draw for a chance to win an iPad.
  • Be a registered and current member of the Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries panel.
  1. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.
  2. Participants can only submit one entry into each of the monthly prize draws.
  3. The prize draw will run on three separate occasions over a 3-month period, and entries will be accepted until midday on the following dates:
  • May Prize Draw: Friday 31st May 2024
  • June Prize Draw: Friday 28th June 2024
  • July Prize Draw: Wednesday 31st July 2024

Entries received after these dates will not be accepted.

  1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.
  2. A winner will be chosen after midday on the dates outlined in paragraph 5.
  3. To choose a winner, the Promoter will use a random draw performed by a computer process. A verification check will also be performed to ensure that the winner meets the conditions set out in paragraph 2 and paragraph 13.
  4. The winner of each prize draw will receive one 10.9-inch iPad Wi-Fi 64GB – Silver (10th Generation).
  5. The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details from either the winner’s LinkedIn profile or information held on the Bank of Ireland Intermediaries panel database) within 3 days of the closing dates outlined in paragraph 5. Winners must provide a postal address to arrange delivery of their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 7 days of being notified, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  6. The prize will either be hand-delivered to the winner or sent to the winner by post on a date and at an address mutually agreed between the Promoter and the winner within 30 days of the closing date.
  7. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.
  8. The winner is only eligible to win one of the three prize draws. If the winner enters a subsequent prize draw, the Promoter reserves the right to discount their entry.
  9. The winner accepts that by entering the prize draw, the Promoter can promote the prize winners on the official Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries (UK) LinkedIn page and across other marketing channels.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control make it necessary to do so.
  11. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  12. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners, and, if applicable, copies of their winning entries, to anyone who writes to Intermediary Marketing, Bank of Ireland (UK) plc, Ground Floor South, One Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6DX (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after each of the closing dates stated in paragraph 5. If you object to any or all of your surname, county, and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter either at the address set out above or via the “Contact Us” section of the Promoter’s website. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  13. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  15. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents, or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  16. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's Privacy Policy. See also paragraph 14 and 17 regarding the announcement of winners.
  17. These Terms and Conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any participants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
  18. The Promoter of this prize draw is Bank of Ireland (UK) plc of 1 Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6DX.
