Alison Pallett, Director of Sales for Bank of Ireland UK, has been appointed as a Director on the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association’s 2018 board. This follows its recent Annual General Meeting.

Richard Rowntree, Managing Director of UK Mortgages at Bank of Ireland UK, commented “Congratulations to Ali on her appointment. This is a great opportunity for Ali and Bank of Ireland UK to help tackle some of the key issues facing intermediary mortgage lenders and support the industry’s interests through 2018.”

The Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA) is the trade association that represents the interests of UK mortgage lenders who generate business through brokers. After a year of changes in the industry, IMLA is now the only independent forum where intermediary lenders can work with the government and industry on initiatives to support a stable and inclusive mortgage market.

Change to your customers’ mortgage payment

Close

Following the Bank of England Base Rate (BBR) change announced on 11th March, if your customers have a mortgage with us that’s on our Standard Variable Rate or is linked to the BBR, their monthly payment will change from 1st of April 2020. They should have received a letter from us by now telling them how much their new monthly payment will be. We’ll write to them by 9th April if the BBR cut announced on 18th March also affects them.
